The eighth edition of Media Festival Skopje took place from 26 to 28 November and was dedicated to local journalism. Focusing on local reporting, this edition addressed issues affecting media professionals across Macedonia.
At this edition of the festival, the discussions brought together journalists and experts including Marija Mitevska, Miroslava Simonovska, Vlatko Stojanovski, Agnesa Chavoli, Ana Trifunovski, Silvana Zhezova, Bjanka Stankovikj, Maja Ravanska, Ivana Janevska, Svetlana Ristevska, Emir Hamzi, Hristina Nikoloska, Ubavka Janevska, Aleksandra Maksimovska, Branimir Bradarikj, Lindita Sela, Milica Vojinovikj, Bojana Spasovska, Mihajlo Donev, and Sara Tanaskoska.
In addition to the discussions, the festival days also featured a film programme of striking documentary works covering various aspects of the multi-layered journalistic profession, as well as a range of workshops for young journalists. The audience had the opportunity to watch the films For The Record, Breaking The News, The Sky Above Zenica, Stray Bodies, and Bad Press.
The festival, organized by PINA, took place at KOTUR, and, as always, the events were free and open to anyone interested.
